Our Featured Farm - Their Story
Amador Dior started the Santa Maria farm in the 1960s in the countryside of San Paulo State, around 400 kilometers away from the state capitol. Being a great entrepreneur, pioneer and visionary, he took a calculated risk and launched a mango cultivation project in a region better known for its coffee and cattle than its mangos.
But that did not discourage him. Sixty years after planting its first mango tree, our Santa Maria farm is prospering in the ever-growing mango industry. Today, Amador’s legacy has been carried on for three generations within the family. Our crops have become completely self-sustainable over the years, and for the last 20 years, have been grown without the use of any pesticides in our farming operations. Five years ago, we became a certified organic mango producer by the IDB, the largest organic certifier in Latin America.
Our mission is simply to continue producing quality organic mango puree made from the world's most natural and delicious mango.
